Remember
On the occasion of the five year anniversary of 9-11 I will refrain from alot of political gibes at the Bushies, instead I will remember how this nation reacted and stood together on 9-12, but I still wonder where is Osama?

I can't stand George Allen... arrrgh. He seems like another Bushbot to me. I am also a white male, gun-owning Democrat, but I live in NE Oregon... which is also a very "red" area. Dems are outnumbered in my county by about a 3-2 margin, but I think that's only because we have a four-year state college here in the county seat. The rest of NE Oregon is about 3-1 in favor of the GOP, and is saddled by what a local businessperson refers to as "Republicana", or by what a friend of mine refers to as "C.C.C." (Cowboy Christian Culture). Eccch.

You are a better person than I am. I can't associate the Sept. 11 attacks with anything but my anger at the U.S. government. Thanks for taking a calm, probably more thoughtful perspective! THAT is how the victims of the attacks should be remembered, without all the political crapola.
