Please Shut Your Trap
Jesus Rosie O'Donnell is an idiot. People like her make all of us Democrats and Lefties look like morons. I have no problem with her criticising Bush policy etc., but spouting off whack job conspiracy theories about 9-11 and how Bush caused it is asinine and counterproductive. The Right has kooks like Ann Coulter and Pat Robertson, and we get stuck with her. Rosie stick with what you do best, stand-up, and adopting kids, throw in an occasional barb at the GOP, but leave the nutter conspiracy stuff at home. Thanks.

Um, then you're going to hate my next blog post which is going up tomorrow.
If you really start looking into what happened on 9/11, you get left with more questions than answers. Don't dismiss her so quickly. A 110 story steel building cannot come down in 10 seconds without a little help.
Do you believe anything that comes out of the Bush admin? If you don't, then why should you believe this?
As much as I also believe Rosie is something of a doofus, I would have to agree with Lizzy here. At the risk of my becoming a conspiracy-loon-theorist in your eyes, Elvez, I also believe the collapse of one of those buildings did appear to be more like something done professionally, by demolitionists.
Nonetheless, I have a hard time believing any American administration could be so evil as to do something like that... I even have a hard time believing BUSH could have been behind it... but I do agree with Lizzy: we are left with many more questions than we are left with answers when it comes to "9-11", and I have a feeling that we will see stonewalling like never before if serious questions start getting asked about what really went on 9/11/01. If our government wasn't complicit, I at least want to know why they didn't want a 9/11 Commission formed, and why it has taken them so long to implement the recommendations.
But back to your post: Rosie doesn't do the Democrats much good when she tries to become like an Ann Coulter. Democrats DO need to portray themselves as non-whackjobs during the next couple of years... they don't need to produce poster-children for people like Sean O'Hannity and Bill Reilly (mangling of names on purpose!)
I agree completely that the Bush administration is culpable for 9-11, due to negligence, shoddy intel, and ignoring Clinton's security teams warnings i.e. Richard Clark. 9-11 was preventable and the criminals in the administration should be held accountable, what I can't swallow however is a deliberate conspiracy through the CIA, neocons, or whoever. Anything is possible, but I really hope that my country isn't one where my govt could orchestrate an act of terrorism like this, maybe I'm naive, but I sure as hell hope not.
At least Ann Coulter looks almost attractive, that is, when she isn't speaking or making eye contact.
Snave, Lizzy, I gotta go with Elvez on this one. It's incredibly difficult to fake a crime scene, much less with that many people coming in and out of that building at any given time. Also, given the amount of work that would be required for preparation of that type of demolition... I just don't see it being even remotely feasible.
One possible reason for opposition to the 9/11 Commission's formation may be the very fact that all the Warren Commission, with all of their great work, only spawned more conspiracy theorist whack-jobs. Tin foil hat, anyone?
